These ini files show some remarkable effects of the partial collision detection in GPL. The trick is to place the ai cars in overlapping positions on the grid and then cause a collision to occur. The whole grid explodes.
In offline races these overlappings can occur because GPL does not always detect collisions between cars for efficiency reasons. When one of the overlapping cars collides with you, the chain reaction is started.
When racing online, warping induced by high latency can put a car overlapping with your space suddenly, giving a violent reaction.

Usage:

0.
- Extract files crash1track.ini and crash2track.ini into your GPL tracks\monza directory.

1.
- Go to your GPL tracks\monza directory.
- Save the current track.ini.
- Rename crash1track.ini to track.ini.
- Start GPL and choose Single race at Monza with 19 AI and damage on.
- Accelerate the qualifying so you are last.
- Join the race and let it start. Then watch the replay and see how the ai train gets rolling smoothly despite the fact that they overlap.
- Quit the race, save the qualifying results.
- Restart the race, but this time jump the start way too early and aim for the car straight ahead to explode the grid.

2.
- Go to tracks\monza.
- Save the current track.ini.
- Rename crash2track.ini to track.ini.
- Start GPL and choose Single race at Monza with 19 AI and damage on.
- Accelerate the qualifying so you are last or use saved qualifying results from 1.
- When you hit the green button, the whole pack explodes as your car is dropped on top of the last ai.

I have put the pole at the back to have one car left undamaged. Try watching the replay from his view.
